Can be frustrating, because I know there is at least one book in the group I could use.

ebay can be okay for numismatic literature, I'd keep making good posts in within a month or so you should be a member able to sell here, no fees like ebay and Paypal will take from you. I'm interested too, even with more than 1000 books I still want more!

BTW, his name is Q. David Bowers not David Q. Bowers... Amazingly prolific author and everything of his I own is worth the price. Even his older pamphlets have interesting insights.

There are a large number of people out there who would like to use Coin Community's sizable audience as free advertising. They have no interest in the Community, and will only post driveby links if we let them. Some are resourceful enough to stick around for a few posts. Many will only take your money and run.
Especially here at Coin Community, where we're known to seek and attract the new, inexperienced collector.
We nuke a dozen or so a week of them, before you guys ever see them or sometimes within a few minutes at your reports. Yes, it's frustrating on the surface but under the surface we're kind of at war here. The rules are truly necessary.

To bad your not in the USA. Taking those to a Goodwill or Salvation Army store could get you a tax deduction for the donation. Or, and again, if in the USA, you could sell them at flea markets. My suggestion is to move here. Not sure if the same by you but our Libraries are always asking for donations in books so they can either put them on the shelves or sell for a profit. Or just stick around here for a while, reply to as many posts as possible and POOF, you can sell them here.

I believe there are also many people in Canada that collect U.S coins as well.
I am not only here to sell I love talking coins U.S or Canadian I had just never thought of joining a coin forum before.
I have been collecting since 1989 and I have pretty good knowledge of U.S coins and for sure a great knowledge of Canadian coins.
I also collect baseball cards and comic books. Even if I live in Canada I love baseball way more than hockey.
U.S coins are very expensive to collect versus Canadian coins it sucks.

Quote: There are a large number of people out there who would like to use Coin Community's sizable audience as free advertising Kind of why I showed up at first, though I don't think I've ever really tried to sell my ebay stuff here, I have auctioned a few books at CCF. I ended up being impressed by the quality of posts and people here and ended up really enjoying participating, then supporting the CCF.

I live in a area where there are not many coin collectors so just reading peoples posts here makes for a better day all around.
