It's a 10 Centesimi coin from Italy. Can't make out the date but it's between 1919-1937
The reverse is that of a bee on a flower.

I can just make out part of the obverse inscription, it looks like it is a 10 Centesimi coin from Italy. Obverse is bust of Vitorio Emanuele III, Reverse is a Bee. KM# 60, copper. I have a few in my colection.

This might be an interesting coin to try cleaning. I think it's covered in paint. Any suggestions on what to use? Maybe I'll use it as a pocket piece for a while and see if anything rubs off.

I think I'd try acetone first, and see if that helps?

I soaked it in a bit of water last night. Didn't do a bit of good. I've never tried acetone before. I'll see if I can't pick some up after work today.

Alright I picked up the acetone today. Now, what exactly do I do with it? How long should it soak, etc?

Acetone will not harm the coin so you can let it soak until the paint starts to soften. You can use a toothpick to scrape off the paint as it loosens.
