Prethen Pillar of the Community United States 3234 Posts	Posted 03/09/2015 10:34 am What made this coin a bit more compelling of a purchase was that it is actually a rarity among most $3 gold since you can tell it has not been cleaned. It has grime in the devices, nice color (not that dipped out yellow that is often seen), and better than average (albeit not superb) obverse strike (although the reverse is not that great). I'm disappointed with my ability to properly set the custom white balance with the above pictures to get the true colors. I must be more diligent in the future.
