I am new to this but I have a question regarding the 1999 Delaware quarter, I have had lots of these coins pass through my hands but I kept this particular one because the rein from the riders hand to the horses neck is missing, I have heard of error coins before but not sure if this is one can anyone help me.....pleezzzzzzzz, sorry I dont have a picture on here but still learning will gladly send one by email....

Welcome to the forum !

From your description the coin sounds like a filled die ,, while it is an error it is a very common occurance and seldom adds any value to the coin.

If you would like to add a picture to your question ,,there is a tutorial for posting pictures on the forum in the left hand side bar .

Common to find on regular coinage. Move of a novelty with little premium for them unless you find someone that "has a hankering for them. (Possibly a "newbie to coin collecting?"
