Two are lost.

1914 D Lincoln. 1932 D Washington quarter.

The Lincoln was given to our oldest son by a neighbor 30 plus years ago, and I was supposed to save it for him. The quarter was actually found in circulation.

Have not found either to date.

These aren't the only items of value which are misplaced. I also have a personally signed photo from Harry S. Truman. It is put away some place so secure, I can't find it. Would love to locate it and put it on the wall.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all three items will turn up eventually.

Memory -- the second thing to go.
Rest in Peace

just_carl's comments on a parellel universe is interesting. I have had things disappear and never saw them again.

Most recently I dropped a car key behind a filing cabinet. I pulled out the cabinet to pick up the key, and it wasn't there. Nowhere for it to have gone. It will always remain a mystery.

Have you noticed that when you find a lost item, it is ALWAYS in the last place you looked?

Someday I hope to figure out a way to look there FIRST, and save myself a lot of time.

Mine usually turns up on the scanner if I'm to lazy to take a picture, or I'm doing a comparison of pics and scans,
found my last one there after 3 days of looking.

I have a bad habbit of looking in places I've already looked! LOL

Currently I'm missing a 1960 proof half. I seemed to have misplaced it or Scottie beamed it up. I took the set apart for the Lincoln a couple of months ago, I was browsing that folder the other day and realized it's not there. I just dunno! I only work with my coins in one area, so this one really has me perplexed. Bottom line, I keep looking where I've ready looked because I looked everywhere. LOLOLOLOL
