baguiobookstore Hello - just happened to see this. Here are my comments.

2. 1863 G or Go? Y.F 26.88 grams - The coin is the Go Guanajuato mint with a filled o inside the large G. The center of the mint mark may have been poorly set or the die may have clogged with greasy dirt. This happened quite often so that feature is common. This coin is one of the Hub Overdate coins 6/5. The hub used to make the working die had a three digit date on the hub 185. The last digit was missing as was the pair of assayer initials. After the working die was hubbed - the mint workers added the last digit of the date and the assayer initials. In this case, the 5 in the date had to be altered to a 6. All copies of the 1863 Go 8R are in fact 6/5 hub doubles but some are clearer than others. Yours is actually quite obvious. It adds VERY little to the actual value but some collectors do collect the hub overdate variations.

Presuming these are all real, I have created a table of retail values based on Krause. These prices are fairly accurate for the later dated trade coins in my experience but have to be bumped for silver prices on what are essentially bullion grades.

If you upload the pictures first you can then put them in your post a second time and it appears as a picture.
