I'm trying to attribute this half, but there is very limited information on the interwebs for me to compare it to. The second picture show the two MASSIVE die cracks (and susequent depressions as the die pieces shifted height) on the reverse, one from A in STATES to the E in AMERICA, and one from the left (eagle's right) wing to the T in CENTS. The third picture shows the amount of rotation relative to the obverse. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be a GR-5 R.1. Any confirmation?

Yeah, that crack leaves little to the imagination.

Pretty common variety as 1837's go, but a prime example of the Mint's learning process with the new steam presses.
