It was one of those coins that "sing" to me.

CELTIC, Gaul. The Senones.
Circa 100-60 BC.
Potin 20mm (4.2gm).
Two rampant goats facing one another; pellet between, annulet between hind legs / Rampant wolf and boar facing one another; pellet between.

CCCBM III 466ff; de la Tour 7458.

Interesting coin, I've not seen one of these before. What is the metal? It look like lead.

I thought it looked like two baby elephants playing pat-a-cake, I was smitten and had to have it.

Wonderful coin. Its in marvelous condition for being a potin coin. I love potin, I like they way it looks and feels when in condition. Great acquisition.
