G'day, I thought that the 1kg coin was supplied in a capsule.
I'd ask at the source of the problem: the Perth Mint.
Failing that: a dozen or so 2x2s, a roll of duct-tape, and some Spanish ingenuity ought to sufficient foundation for an improvised solution.

Both the coins were in capsules but stupid me dropped them on the floor and they shattered.

Last time I tried to get capsules for these out of th PM it was a no go.
