This question is in relation to LRB's.

From memory, in reply to a post a member stated that "Emperor (so-and-so) only used three 'Reverses' and they were . . . . . and Emperor 'so-and-so(2)' used five reverses and they were . . . ." or similar words.

The question is where can I find a reference book/material that had what 'Reverses' were used by which 'Emperors', and included what legends were used by those same Emperors, in an easy to read and follow manner. Judging by the earlier comments such a publication may exist.

Can anyone help me, please? I believe that such a publication would assist me when attributing my coins.

Other than sources you may find on line. The only other reference that I'm aware of is RIC or the more current ERIC II.

This is not all the reverses but the vast majority of them. http://www.tesorillo.com/aes/_rev/index3i.htm

I am currently checking out a book "Late Roman Bronze Coinage: An attribution guide for poorly preserved coins" by Guido Bruck, where the Tesorillo diagrams come from. It has been translated into English.

The Guido Bruck is a good source, so is the other online places suggested but a bit dated. ERIC II is pretty good but other than spending mega bucks thats the best you will get.

Thanks, guys and girls.
From the comments (posted) I was hoping for there to be an authoritative journal of some sort, but it may have only existed in the member's mind.

Thanks anyway. Tesorillo and/or Bruck seem to be my options.
