I am trying to figure out why this coin's reverse is different then the ones that pull up on google for this year. The obverse is the same as my other pennies and half pennies, but the reverse on my others is the kangaroo. when I googled this on, it shows the kangaroo but that is not what my coin has, is this a different denomination? Can anyone tell me about this penny?

It's because your coin is not Australian, but British. This is the usual design of a 1946 British penny.

And, sadly, 1946 British pennies are not a scarce date. There is a scarce 1946 British penny variety with a die chip after the word "ONE" that looks like an apostrophe, but sadly, yours is not that variety either.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
