Help Grading A Couple Halfpennys And A Penny

NumisRob Bedrock of the Community United Kingdom 18007 Posts	Posted 03/10/2015 5:05 pm Hi Pytellc - In the UK, these are all coins I would expect to find in a dealer's junk bin or cheap tray - my LCS would have these in the 15p (25c) each or 10 for a pound ($1.50) tray. The 1940 George VI halfpenny I'd grade as Good Fine / Near VF, the 1958 halfpenny as VF and the 1927 George V penny as Fine. They are in about average circulated condition for British bronze coins pulled out of circulation in the last few years before decimalisation. A nice little piece of history, and portraits of three different British monarchs!
