They appear to be 50% silver (1920-47)
Pre 1920 will be 92.5% (sterling silver)

Thank you. How much in grams would that be? I don't have a scale, obviously I could do the math but I don't know how much these coins weigh, or even what they are.

They are all British .500 fine, total ASW 0.58 ounce, @ $15.40 = $9.00.

MY bad. I counted the theepences as sixpences, my mistake.
11.985 grammes = 0.385 troy ounce, @ $15.40 = $5.93, perhaps closer to $5.80, with wear.

My math is showing me a total of 11.905 grams, or about $6. Then again, math was never my forte.

Take whatever the correct number is (not enough time to do math right now) and subtract a little bit for wear. Those coins don't weigh as much as they did when they were first minted.
