Not sure about what cause this. Could it be a polishing error? Look on the background of the trees, alot of wavy lines that appear to look like limbs, but not sure,,please let me know what this is,,,

Ok, I am adding another picture, it is highlighted in black in the area I am asking about, it appears broken up, not smooth like the other one. I would call it pitted, only thing is it is raised.

i don't see anything either. but for future reference there is no such thing as a polishing error. an error is not caused from polishing a die.

some of the branches on the larger tree have doubling I think Ken potter has as DDO-001 ck his site

just the letters DDO make his coin on his site different than this one because DDO=Double Die Obverse and what we are trying to determine is whats going on with the Reverse (which would read DDR just for reference). I don't think this is any form of doubled die but I could be wrong but atleast they don't look like it in the pictures, to me anyway.
