OK, I know its a long shot here, but I'm looking for a bunch of Auktionskatalog's. If ppl have any of these, please let me know. I'm after a page or two only from each, as part of the research I'm doing on German Third Reich Regular issue, Allied Occupation issue and proben.

This list is:

Blazer-Frey Aukt. X/Dezember 1962
Gussenberger, Kirchheim, Aukt. I/April 1978
H. Schukman Aukt. November 1970
H. Schukman Aukt. November 1970
Hirsch Aukt. 60/Dezember 1968
Hirsch Aukt. 61/ Februar 1969
Hirsch Aukt. 81/Dezember 1972
Hirsch Aukt. 102/Dezember 1976
Klenau Aukt. 48/Februar 1970
Kreß Aukt. 129/April 1964
Kreß Aukt. 136/September 1966
Kreß Aukt. 165/März 1976
Kurpfälzische Münzhandlung Aukt. 5/Dezember 1973
Kurpfälzische Münzhandlung Aukt. XIV/Mai 1978
Mohr Aukt. 9/Juni 1976
Mohr Aukt. November 1973
Peus Machf. Aukt. 285/Dezember 1974
Sotheby Aukt. Februar 1954 (Slg. König Faruk)
Winter Aukt 25/Feruar 1975

And Also looking for:

Münzen-Revue 1974

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't have any of those. Current auction catalogs can be found here for example:
http://www.sammlerauktionen.eu/inde...onen&ak_id=1
- but that site (published by Gietl-Battenberg) does not have such older ones. By the way, MünzenRevue is from Gietl too:
http://www.gietl-verlag.de/index.ph...tail&zt_nr=1
Maybe they have the 1974 issues in their archives?

Another option (similarly long shot though ...) would be to ask in a German language forum such as http://www.muenzen.net/ . There is a "Gästeforum" for guests (ie. you don't have to register for that sub-forum) and one for "Foreign visitors" ...

Didnt know of muenzen.net . I regularly visit https://www.numismatikforum.de who are a great bunch of ppl actually.

If you like Auktionskatalogs, you should check out the Künker site at https://www.kuenker.de (in english too!). They have almost 3Gb of Auktionskatalogs for download (and its only the last 30-35 Auctions)! I'm glad I didnt pay for the bandwidth I used to download them with; thank you Uni! I just wish ALL Münzhandlung put all their Auktionkatalogs up online.

Thanks for the https://www.sammlerauktionen.eu link... More PDF's to download :)

Yes, I know about numismatikforum.de and post there too from time to time. That one and muenzen.net do not exactly have what one would call a cordial relationship, to put it carefully.

Auction catalogs I find interesting because many have great pictures of gorgeous coins none of which I could ever afford ... I don't order/download any catalogs though because I have a MünzenRevue subscription, and they do cover many auctions.

Good luck with your further research!

Danke Christian. Has Münzen-Revue had any good articles on Proben recently?

Not really AFAIR. Its "sister magazine" Münzen & Papiergeld (same publishing house) had an article about the Mint Museum in Kremnitz (Kremnica, Slovakia) which apparently also shows quite a few Proben in its exhibition. But that is probably not what you are looking for. Besides, the pictures in that article do not show any Proben.

The last few issues of both MR and M&P can be viewed online, by the way:

MünzenRevue
Archived issues (the last three):
http://www.gietl-verlag.de/index.ph...chiv&zt_nr=1
Current issue (11-2007):
http://www.gietl-verlag.de/index.ph...aege&zt_nr=1

Münzen & Papiergeld
Archived issues (the last three):
http://www.gietl-verlag.de/index.ph...chiv&zt_nr=2
Current issue (11-2007):
http://www.gietl-verlag.de/index.ph...aege&zt_nr=2

The "Zur kostenlosen Testversion ..." links take you to the free version (where various pages are "dimmed"). Single issues can then be purchased. But I have not seen anything lately that could be of particular interest for you ...
