Nice VAM-83. The photos don't show if there is any wear on the cotton boles or the highest points of hair. AU58 with wear on these points, MS62 without. Nice coin superdog.

Dern SeatedNut you stole my thunder once again with the attribution of yet another 1878 Morgan. This is in fact a VAM-83 and as was said it could be anywhere between AU-58 through MS-62 according to luster and wear the coin shows. I want to add VAM-83 is the second most common B1 Reverse Morgan so its not one of those VAM's that is going to make you rich or anything, it actually sells for around the same price a non VAM 1878 would sell for in the same condition

Bryan you only have yourself to blame ... you lit the fire! Thanks again for that. I've picked up several Hot 50/100's this past month. I have one in the mail that has real potential ... an R-7. If it pans out, I'll share the find here.

I have also got the Morgan since coming to the CCF I have found a need for Morgan thanks Bryan but I only want O minted Morgan I need 1895-O 1903-O to finsh my O set.I collect O minted Dimes for 35+yr and now I have Morgantisese
