As an error collector, I just don't get it, what am I missing.

Just wow! I actually got some Denver rolls and had some partial letterings and threw them back into the spending bunch. Time to go to the bank, pick up some rolls and fnd a way to submit to PCGS

We often speak of the knowledge necessary to be a successful coin collector and yet 75% of that knowledge may be nothing more than a single sentence: Don't buy a coin on the secondary that's less than 10 years old.

After 10 years the *construct* has either collapsed or in some very rare instances, formed a solid and real base around it. This was the case of the '55 DDO1 Lincoln. A coin that was so much a construct no one even wanted one until Jim Ruddy started selling them for 25cents. No one even cared enough about it to report it's existence until 1960. But it has a solid collector base today which is more than can be said for 95% of the past constructs used to hype coins.
