Glad to see that you made it through. It would be nice if all of our southern members would check in.
We here in Delaware should get some rain today from the storm, but luckily this one is well west of the state.

American Red Cross at 1-800-HELPNOW is need of help for all of the victims of this class 4/5 storm.
The money will be directed to the victims on the Gulf coast.
It just wrecks my heart watching what has happened and even if you can't donate money, donate blood.

The rain and wind has made it to my neck of the woods, but so far no one is out "marking their territory". [:0] Seriously though, I saw pictures today of rescuers having to cut through roofs to get to people trapped in their houses. So sad. If anyone hears from Cisco let us know, OK?

We finally have gotten a break in the rain (7:00p.m)so I ran outside and had a quick talk with the clouds and pointed them on NORTH to Kyra and Canada. The rest of the night doesn't look good but it is really great to get a break from the rain. My heart goes out to the folks in Mississippi and Louisiana. Words can't express what they are going through!

Hey gang I am fine thanks for the call Richard & thanks for asking Kyra, I appreciate the concern. We down here were hit with what I will call the "KAT1", was really a kitten--When it hit north of us along gulf coast, the kitty turned into a "tiger"-Kat4/5-Lots lost there lives I'm sure--many prolly could not bust thru there roofs--I fear the death toll will rise and they may never know how many died--
The looters irritate me to no end, during andrew down here we had to arm ourselves to protect our property & ourselves from these worms--Unfortunately, many left as told up there, only the scum was left behind, and as you can see from videos, it don't look like they are looting to survive--they are looting cause they are thieves--Whata shame--Down here, those dudes would be shot--The misery these poor people will go thru now is nothing compared to what we went thru, even perhaps with andrews--Either way, it will be miserable for those people for many many months--God help them--

I believe Rggoodie said he spoke to Cisco and that he's okay. He probably just doesn't have electric yet. I should be washing ashore in a few hours, Crystalk. I hope you got a Dunkin Donuts nearby. You know Camille was a lot more powerful than Katrina was but it sure looks to like carbon copy as far as the destruction goes.

I have no sympathy for the human trash that I see looting on television. Unfortunately, less people will leave their homes and businesses and stay behind and protect them.
I for one would start shooting first and then I would yell, "halt" second. After all, looters used to get shot and I am all for shooting them.

Great news! Katrina has left the state and is now dumping on Ohio! I would still like to know how all that water stays up in those clouds? You would think it would have all dumped somewhere before reaching Indiana. Nothing but devastation on the coast and now they are ordering New Orleans to be evacuated. I think this would be a great opportunity to move a couple of towns a few miles north because it looks like the whole place will have to be rebuilt. Unbelieveable!

I lied I said I avoided the hurricane. That is when it passed thru Florida as a Cat. 1. I humoursly put up a post because I had been to the beach.
Time has marched on. I have been away from computers for 4 1/2 days only logging on when I could find a friendly computer user with a connection.
I have spent the last few days in H E double toothpicks. (This is a family friendly site)
I have been in disaster zones, War, the World trade Center, but nothing brings a lump to a persons throat as to be involved in the Search and Rescue and assistance to the victims in the coast area.
To keep this on topic, it would be interesting if any of our ddealer members knew any of the dealers in Miss, Ala, LA, and knew what happened to their coins?
May you all be save, healthy and surrounded by your loved ones and the ones you love.(that can include coins)

Don't hold back now Zakkie. Tell us how you really feel. Glad RGGoodie and Cisco are ok. My hopes and prayers go out to the folks who have lost so much. I have some family in N.O. and luckily everyone is safe at a shelter in Baton Rouge, except for a remote uncles brother, who I understand perished in the storm.

Yes, but if it gets embedded into a palm tree it becomes a Spiked-Head Lincoln.
