It's nice, but it's got some rim damage and some entirely questionable surfaces. It went much higher than I would go too.

Even with the rim damage it is a beautiful coin, though a little too expensive.

Bryan - the condition of the coin is rare, there is a massive hike in values for the higher grades. As usual it is impossible to say clearly what the true value of a higher-level coin is. My book (Collectors' Coins GB 2007) says £50 in EF to £100 in UNC dealer prices. (Obviously we don't pay those!) ;)
I think these are similar to Silver Dollars.
