I received these in change today, stuck together. 3 new consecutive 2003A 1 dollar notes.

I always save all of my consecutive notes as well, not because I think they will become valuable, just because they came out of circulation together and figured they should stay that way if possible

I missed one number 639 to having 5 in a row on this set

Please forgive my ignorance on this issue but are the 2003a notes rare or in some way more valuable?.

Thanks.

I like consecutive notes also...and I looked in my wallet and found a 2003a. I know I get these all the time.

2003A isn't rare at all, he was just showing he got 3 consecutive bills in change and thought it was neat so he kept them same as I have done with the ones in my pictures. They are not rare at all just consecutive numbers and was born together and we would rather keep them together, especially when you get them in change together. I have had a bunch of consecutive notes when I used to go to the bank and get bricks from the bank for my grandfathers service station but it just seems more interesting when you get consecutive numbers in change

Acidic1, bryan1315 is correct. there is nothing special about those notes. I just think its cool to find them consecutive serial numbers in change. and these ones are brand new so I like them even more.
Thats only the second time ive found 3 in a row. all my others are only 2 consecutive bills. Bryan, one day I will have that many, I just need to start using cash instead of plastic more often

I know you can't tell by some of my posts in this section, but I don't even collect notes. I just keep what I find in my pocket that I think is interesting. I never even looked at bills until I started this forum (and quite a few months after I started to be honest) because I thought a dollar was a dollar. I remember when I was a kid cashing in a silver certificate in the change machine for 4 quarters at the local arcade so I could play donkey kong , I did know that bill was something different but didn't know why, it was given to me by a good friend who owned a store I used to help out when I was a kid (breaking down boxes, filling the coolers and sweeping their parking lot) he told me to take it home and put it up somewhere. I did for a few years and then the arcade opened a block away from my house and since we never had very much money the first thing that popped in my head was this dollar that I had stashed away in my bible from a couple years earlier so off I went to get it
