Hi Everyone

I have no idea about coins but have found some and want to try and sell them on and as I'm a bit sentimental preferably to someone who appreciates them! So if anyone can help me identify value and ideas on how to sell (im in the midlands UK) please let me know. I have found the following-:

One penny currency with ship on the back and 'new brunswick' other side 'victoria dei gratia regina 1854'

Napoleon III Empereur 1856 with looks like an eagle on the back

One Florin 1927 Parliament House Australia

1853 Brittanear:reg:fid:dei with Queen Victoria on the other side

Half Penny 1949 and Half Penny 1944

Sixpence 1948

Two shilling pence 1937

1881 one twelfth of a shilling states of Jersey with Victoria on the other side

1948 Farthing

1924 USA one cent

1941 three pence

1947 one shilling

thank you for your help

Canary xx

Hi

I have personal assistants (carers) and one of them is moving house and found them in a bag under her stairs and has asked me to search and find out about them and get them sold on. The house is only a 1930's house so must have come with a previous owner I guess.

Canary, if you have a scanner or a camera, we have an upload photo feature. It would really help if you could post some photos.

Welcome to our forum, Canary. While I cannot condone attempting to sell these coins without meeting the 50-post requirement, we will be more than happy to give you some ideas on value if you post pics. You may also want to check out ebay prices realized to get an idea what they would sell for.

The 50-post rule is in effect to protect our members. It is our hope that, once a member makes 50 posts, we will know that person better and can feel secure in a transaction.

Im sure no offense was intended !!

Do you have any way to post pics of the coins ? value depends a great deal on the condition of the coins !!

also any mint marks , these can also make a great difference on value !!

In the case of the 1924 Lincoln Cent as an example , a plain 1924 cent in G-4 condition is around .20 a 1924-D in the same condition is around 10 to 11 dollars .

Rick
Rest in Peace

Hi Kidcollector, you need to move any discussion of purchasing these coins to private mail. Canary needs 50 posts to sell on the forum. He has already stated that he is looking for values only. I will delete any new and have already edited your offer to buy. Please move it to private mail! Thanks, Mike
