Peter THOMAS Pillar of the Community Australia 2830 Posts	Posted 10/30/2007 03:40 am G'day, I don't know what they're doing at the Royal Australian Mint, but for the last few years, all of the newly released Cu-Ni coins have been exceptionally bright & shiny. The RAM must have been doing something about polishing the planchets in a new standard way.
