Because this dime is only half there, is it worth only 5 cents, or because it is double struck does that bring the value it back up to a dime.

Hmmm...I would guess that if I were a casher and got it I would count it as a dime, because a dime is a dime. Of course it's worth A LOT more than a dime.

wrongalot, errors like this do not make it into circulation. Counting room find most likely.

This coin is Graded PCGS MS64 Double Struck Indent on an 18g Fragment.

I found it on ebay.

This type of coin is found outside the mint most likely by a private company that rolls coins for other companies.
