1963 Lincoln, What Is This Damage?

I thought this could be post damage, but upon further examination, I did not see any damage to the surface around the 3. Only the nick in the 3. I would have thought that for it to be post damage, that there would be damage to area around the 3, or on the surface of the coin. What do you all think?

Looks like a well placed center punch and hammer. But I'm nowhere close to an expert.....

Looks like damage to me.

Coin took a hit on the "3" but not hard enough to reach the field below.

Could be a bag mark from other coins or just a bad whack from anything. Circulated coins are just that. They get around.

It's damage. There is also damage to the rim not far from the 3. It probably is a strong contact mark (Bag Mark)
