Alright I'm still a bit confused. The company rolls out copper and brass sheets but how do the coins come into it? I can see such a company making the sheets then sending them to the mint to be punched. Do they send coins back to you to be remelted?

I'm just a good guesser. Very cool finds! What is special about the coin on the right side? Is it special in some way or just there for comparison?

I don't want to imply any impropriety ,, there may be a mechanism for the conversion of these to private property ?

I was just wondering .

I hate to say this, but I think that when the Mint sends this stuff back to be destroyed, that is what the contract states. I suspect that, although I will not accuse anyone of anything, that what is going on is on the outskirts of what the Mint is expecting.
