I got this 1944 s Washington quarter not long ago. I think its got the biggest, longest die crack I've seen in a Quarter. It starts at 10 o'clock, splits into a Y in the eagles right wing to the chest and folows the wing on the left side through the Q,U,A and into the R. Another started in the A at 11 o'clock. This must be one of the last coins for this die.

It's too bad that the price of silver is so high now. In the late 90's Crowns of Peru (Un Sol) were selling for 1 or $2 over spot. Those coins are loaded with die cracks. I have one with 17 of them-- "It's the Godfather."
