Saving star notes is not a bad idea. If you find better grade ones, then they'll certainly be worth a premium. There won't be a whole lot of "upside potential" unless they're uncirculated or of a very uncommon variety. Of course errors, or collectible serial numbers will be worth more if they're star notes.
It would be a gold mine to find a whole pack of 50 or 100 mint uncirculated sesquenced star notes at the bank. If anybody has any friends that are bank tellers, or handle the money in a large store like Kmart or something, then you may want to ask them to keep their eyes open...

Thats true one red cent! Dillion if you search hard enough you might be able to find something but your best bet is going to bet is buying (Official Red Book) A Guide Book Of United States Paper Money: Complete Source for History, Grading, and Prices

dont know if thats the cheapest place to find the Red Book but its easier to buy the Red Book than searching the net for the info you are looking for I have found.
