Good link
And another forum member (coppercoins) is in the news:
quote:
The Cent Project is Still Seeking Volunteers
I recently wrote about the Cent Project, an undertaking by Lincoln Cent expert Charles Daughtrey to get a count of what Lincoln Cent types are currently in circulation. Volunteering for this project is a great way to have some fun searching through pennies (and honing your skills and sharpening your eye for minor die varieties in the process.) If you volunteered for the project and haven't heard back from Daughtrey yet, please let me know. I get more than 200 emails a day so I can't always respond personally to everyone who writes, but I promise you'll hear from me if you volunteer to help with this important (and fun) project! The project is especially in need of volunteers from California (but everyone is welcome!)

I'd be curious as to whatever comments and/or opinions the readers of this forum may have as to the upcoming platinum eagle 10th anniversary set, soon to be released by the Mint. 30,000 sets seemed like a high figure to me. I didn't think there were that many platinum collectors.
