I have a $1 bill print error to where reverse side of bill is blank. Right now I just have this in a zip-loc bag, but I'm sure there's a better of protecting this from the elements. Very amateur and new collector here so interested in what the proper storing of notes is...

Hello and welcome to the forum.

For less than 50 cents, you can get a note protector at any coin-shop. Just make sure to get the non-PVC one (they are all clear plastic, but "non-PVC" is the one that's really hard, less flexible, can't fold or bend at sharp angle).

Good luck.
