just got this one in today from a ebay auction paid $8.48 for this one. And this is uncleaned to boot. So what grade would this get?

And here it is next to my original 1943 from the same minting as this one.

I don't think I did too bad netting this one

Maybe XF-40 DETAILS. I have to be honest with you , did you bid on this coin
because of the low price or because you wanted it for your collection ? there
are some real nice walkers out there for a few dollars more. JUST SAYIN.

I got it for the low price but I do know that in this condition it is worth at least $30-$40 bucks. So I think I did pretty good in netting this girl. Or is AU worth more? I still will pick up some hard cases to protect these two Walkers better.

Ignore the ugly eye appeal.
Grade the coin THEN lower it one step.
I can't tell if there's any wear but it could be as high as MS-63.

Ok to alieviate any confusion I'll post both coins so you can get a better comparison of the detail of both.

hopefully this helps in a more accurate grade.

It does look like the toning on the back of the new coin actually helps to highlight the details on the back.

Just a little update I was looking at both Walkers a couple days ago and realized that both are error coins. The "cleaned" Walker in fact has a Cud on the obverse while the " ebay" Walker has what appears to be a wire strike on the reverse.
