I am trying to find out about this coin, it says "comic coin #2" by the rim on the heads side, shows a man with his hand on the woman's butt on the tails side, both sides say head/tails. now I have googled this coin for days using different ways but only found one that is close to this on, but it is the #3 comic coin, and it was basically a guy asking for help figuring it out also. if I have a #2 and his is #3, how many are there of these coins, and what the heck are they? where did they come from and what were they for? I am very curious about this coin, not even sure to call it a token since it appears to be either copper or bronze. Anything and everything you all can tell me will be greatly appreciated.

Quote: Not sure if this coin is family friendly Looks like a game token maybe? Or a club token? Maybe there was an add in a comic for these at one point? Really cool, though!

I only found one other, online, like this but it is #3. Means there got to be more but I guess not too many people want to post them or anything. if it came from a mag, wouldn't I be able to find it on google? I even did a search by image but still only found 1 other one

They were novelties used as give away by strip and Burlesque clubs There is one on cointalk currently from the Colony club in LA. It is on the last page of the Exonumia thread. The modern ones are used as arcade meter box tokens, for the peep and live shows that are in the booths. The current ones are themed towards the astrological signs. They also have heads and tails on them. The hope is people will keep a couple to give them to friends. The secondary use is a way the cashiers have to account for every one. And some cost a dollar or more. The numbering was like the skus on stuff today. The old novelty and joke catalogs. And dealers kept it simple. I have posted some corrected photos on here in the past and will like them to this when I get the computer up and running again.

Have a bronze ash tray with the same images, but no advertising on it. Will have to find it and see if I can make it more family friendly.
