One Arabic Coin, One Roman Coin... - Coin Community Forum

CajunCreole New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/06/2015 3:18 pm Hi, I'm hoping someone here will have an idea of what these coins are... First, it's an Arabic coin that is crudely made. I have not weighed it and if need be, I can. I didn't take a side view of it and probably should have as it's very uneven. I know it's silver and that's about it... I'd love to know if it's possible to tell the year of its minting, but I realize, there isn't a lot to go on. ___ Second coin is Roman and a tough one to see what's what. I'm sure it's made of copper and that's about it. If I had a guess, I'd say this is the back? The front? A different view: I truly appreciate any help on these as I have tried for years to find a picture...anything that could give me a clue and I found nothing. Thank you for your time and consideration. I did weight it and it's 10 grams exactly. I found a site for Islamic to Gregorian date conversion.
