1986 Penny Misplaced Mint Mark

As I sit here and examine this very crazy looking penny, It makes me feel like it could be a misplaced mint mark. As it appears that the date was stamped over it, you can see the line of the six going over the mass(well, trying to, it is on the right side of the mass).

that's a die chip sadly, the dates on Lincoln cents seem to be common areas of this occurrence.

From what I have read the MM were stamped on the Die when Die was ready for producing Coinage.

Doesn't matter, that's not where they stamped the mint mark. It is, however, a place known in Lincolns to be susceptible to die chips. Leads me to think this is a die chip.

Thank you guys, I to thought when looking at it from the left side it looks like a D because it has the middle "hole" like the D, and takes on the shape of a smushed D. But looking at it from the right side it shows the portion of the "6", so it appears to be stamped on the mass. Sorry, I thought it was a misplaced mintmark. Even if it is a Die chip, It is so cool because it looks a little 3-D.
