Really hard to get decent photos of this little guy. Bought from a fellow CCF member. We hit heads as to grade. She thought mid AU, I think it has a shot at MS as I saw no wear under my 20X. Pictures do not do this coin justice. Looks very nice in hand. Just thought I'd share before it goes to ANACS.

I know next to nothing about fractional gold so I'll wait for others more experienced to chime in. Who knows I might learn something from this forum.

I own 3, including this one and years ago sold the love of my life coin, a PCGS VF20 1850 Moffat $5.
Needed the money at the time and now that I'm in a much better situation, wish I can find that exact coin again :-(

Can't wait to see the results. I'm fractional gold ignorant.

In hand, this coin is pristine. No ex-jewelry, clean lustrous edges and surfaces.

We'll see :)

I don't know how to grade these at all; I am interested in the result.

Half Dimes are as small as I'll go. The fractionals are too small for my eyesight.

Now about that 1850 Moffat....I feel the same way about selling my AG 1846-C half eagle...the best pocket coin I ever had....why did I let it go....
