I received these coins from ebay. At first I thought they were cleaned because there are some small scratches however detail in the hair, crown, etc looks good. When I've got other cleaned coins they typically have a lot of tiny scratches where these just have some scratches but it doesn't necessarily look like the coin was scrubbed. I'm just wondering if these got scratched while in someones pocket or if the seller tried to pull a fast one and sold me cleaned coins. Do these scratches completely kill the condition? Thanks.

the photos are blurry but it just appears to be a really baggy example with a minor cameo contrast. if youre looking for a nicer example of the date 1964 dollars are common and bu or pl examples can be had in the $15 range.

That is kind of what I was leaning towards too. I don't have much (if any) experience grading coins. With these it's disappointing because I can see every hair line, crown detail, etc so they look really good but some of them have quite a few of these scratches. I just wasn't sure how much of a hit that takes on the condition. I will say the CND silver dollar is a nice looking coin though.. too bad my "mixed date" lot is all 64's and 65's!

For these common years...yes, you can pick these in UNC for quite a reasonable price.
