I have found 1971S 72S and 73S Lincoln cents I'm new to coin collecting but I'd say they all appear to have no errors. My question is... Are they (year/mint stamps) rare? in demand? do they hold any value? Thanks!!

I don't think they have much value but when I search a box of pennies I usually only get a few "S" mints so they aren't too common. Might be worth a few cents unless they are mint. Might be worth just holding on to though.

Not necessarily rare but certainly less common than Denver or Philly coins of the same years. While the value may be slightly higher you aren't gonna get rich roll picking them.

I save all "S" mint mark coins these days just because they are rather unusual.

So many people save all S minted coins that someday they will all be worth a lot of money. Might take a few hundred years, if your around, might be worth saving.

I agree with the agree.

I keep all copper cents. S-mint is a bonus.
