Haven't seen them (as I am not a seller), but if it is like most of their previous changes, probably not.

I heard there are a lot less free listings, which is a good thing.

The beginning of the downward slide for ebay was free listings. Without all the free listings Uncle Billy Joe Jim Bob might stop relisting his bottle cap collection over and over and over again for 4 million dollars and never pay a dime. If the bar owner wants to get rid of the pathetic piece of slime on the stool next to you he doesn't lower the prices.... that just makes him call his friends.

I have a basic store & the amount of listings I get with the subscription was reduced. That's not something I'm happy about. I guess I understand cutting down the amount of free listings will lower the amount of garbage listings & can see where ebay would want to do that.....but that doesn't mean they should penalize people doing things the right way.

Auction style listings for the basic store are limited to 100(free) & only in what they are calling collectibles. I'm about 90% sure that's a numbers reduction & 100% sure restricting it to "collectibles" cuts out other categories.

I had to re-login to ebay this am. After doing so, there was a whole new terms and conditions I had to agree to. However I didn't read it.

I totally agree...and I also see Bobby's point which, I admit, I had never thought about until he spelled it out so eloquently. It seems like ebay ought to be able to come up with some sort of formula that figures out the INITIAL success rate sellers have of selling their items and allow those sellers more free listings. As an example of what I mean - I might sell 500 coins during the course of a year and probably 20 or less of those would be RE-listings that didn't sell the first time around. Uncle Billy-Boy Jim-Bob would not have anywhere near that level of initial success so he should probably be charged a listing fee on EVERY listing until his success rate improved. Of course...I'm just talking about auctions...which is all I do. I don't know how or if this logic would work as applied to ebay stores.

UNLESS YOU OWN A STORE , yes free listings are going way down..if you have a basic store you still get your 150 free listings, but now they are all for fixed price auctions. but now you will also receive 100 free listings for auction style auctions.so it really is a bonus for store owners, but for jim-bob yes his, free auctions will be cut back..

......IF you buy into the idea that a fixed price listing is the same as an auction.

Free listings based on sell through rate.
