Got home today and had two things waiting for me. A coin package and a book I recently ordered. The book is Ancient Indian Coins Revisited by Pieper.

The coin is from the city of Taxila. An important city that was situated between Central Asia and India, it was conquered many times until it was destroyed by the Huns.

Obv: Elephant walking to right, three-arched hill with crescent above.

Rev: Lion with a Swastika above struck in deep rectangular incuse.

Very cool! I love the square design, but good luck trying to buy anything from a vending machine with it.
