Nice. Some of those Edward cents can have great woodgrain effects. I know that seller, usually low starting bids, did you win it, coop?

No, I just used his images and gave him credit for the image. It was up for sale a few days ago and I needed some great images to add to my files. I could never afford my want list. Seems like this coin was in the $50 range. He has some great toned Indian Head cents also for a lot more money, but worthy of images for my files.

It is a wrong mix alloy that tones differently in the areas mixed incorrectly.

I found an English coin that was a woodie. I bought it for the color and sold it later on after I had it for 10 years.
