This one looks BU from the photos, but has seen a lot of contact. I would hazard a guess of MS-61. Regarding the VAM ... most 1880-P VAMs center around the date (doubling/overdate). That scratch on the cheek is in a prime focal point, and there looks to be enough going on to give her an AU-58. Might be low ms, but my first thought was au.
I see this one as MS but low because of all of the hits. Maybe a 61. After looking at it a second time I might have to say MS-60. The breast feathers are very weak.
