I'm finding it really difficult to take representative photos of my coins.

I'm wondering what cameras/lenses people commonly use and also some pointers on lighting and technique. Thanks in Advance.

There is a photography forum on left hand side of main page . There are some well informed members there.

He're what I do. I use my Iphone with whatever loop I require for the job. For example all you have to do is place the loop over the lens and then focus as required. You can get apps to enhance your photo ability. In short this does all I require to get good results. I might add that I use an LED light and try and find a background that shows a contrast of the coin. I'm no Pro. Just a guy who's had to make due.
