Hello from Ontario, Canada
Recently, I inherited a few coins. With doing some research, I have noticed that there were 2 years where the Canadian Sovereign gold coins were not made, 1912 & 1915. Could anyone tell me why?
Thanks!

I do not know for sure but it probably had to do with a low supply of gold or a sufficient amount from struck for Britain from other countries.

No demand from Great Britain. The 1915 London mint is a very common bullion coin. Sovereigns are not Canadian coins, they are foreign coins struck at the Ottawa mint nothing more. How they ever got to be collected as Canadian coins is beyond me.
You might as well add Jamaican C mint mark coins to the Canadian series as well.
