OK, I've seen MD around these features on other coins, but this one looks too smooth. MD?

I have seen it a bunch of times always a MD

When that area is affected is almost always MD.

Same thing with the eye. Machine damage. Note how this reduces the overall size in that area. No hub doubling, just a coin from a normal die with MD.
