I don't like the edge lettering but I don't hate it.

I voted other. I don't mind all the legislatively mandated junk on the side, but I too, would rather see the date and MM on the face. I think without all the dumb mottos on the face, it leaves more room for more attractive designs.

Not that the Mint has come up with any, for circulating coins.
