Anyone have any early currency from the time around the American revolution? I'm trying to collect one note from each of the 13 colonies and so far have one from Rhode Island .

Not going to give up my search for colonial notes from around the time of the
American revolution. If you have any extras or know where I can find some please advise...and have a healthy and happy 2008!

I collect Colonial and Continental notes. I have a small collection, but I do collect them!
I have a $1 Continental note dated November 29, 1775. I also have a $1/9 Colonial note from Maryland.
I find the money from that era to be absolutely fascinating! I bought my first Colonial coin about a year ago. It's a 1773 Virgina half penny in about vf condition.
For those that are interested in these gems, ebay has a section for colonial notes and another for colonial coins. Even if you're not buying, you can get a decent education there.
