I gathered the best pennies from this date. They are all around the same condition and tone. But I will start a new one and post many other coins denomination that I believe are in the same grade level. Could someone please explain what it would make these coins grade higher besides cleaner field and maybe better/more defined strike? Feel free to use one of the numbered examples for reference. Generally, the priority in grading is: 1) eye appeal 2) luster 3) fields 4) subtract for distractions Strike doesn't much come into play until you hit MS-66 and up. Lincoln Cent Lover!
