I was trying to access the older mint annual reports from 2009/2010 but they don't seem to be opening on my computer. I was looking to see if they mentioned the number of commemorative coins that were sold in this series, or if anyone knew of the final mintage for all 6 coins. Thanks!

Per Charlton Vol 2 3rd edition:

Coins 1, 2 and 3 are unknown.

Coin 4 25,016
Coin 5 25,004
Coin 6 25,004

Complete sets 496

Coins 1 and 2 seem to be hard to find for anything even close to the $9.99 issue price. The rest are readily available for much less - I paid 3$ each for them a couple of years ago.

Still looking for the No. 1 the Home Sweater.

Thanks Ottawa. I was really hoping to get the actual mintage for the 1st and 2nd coins. I also got the 3-6 ones for around $4-5 a few years back. I just bought the 1st one today but I didn't pay anything close to the $10 issue price (spontaneous purchase haha). Just missing the second one now. If the total number of complete sets is 496 does that imply that the mintage for the first one is 496 or were there complete sets sold apart from the individual cards?

There was a set of six in an album that sold 496. I've never seen the album though. It's shown here: http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/montr....VRdN-qZ0yM8

Where did you find no. 1? There seems to be only one seller on ebay and he appears to have cornered the market - has sold and has many for sale. I won't pay the $60+ he wants for them though.

Oh okay, I didn't realize they sold those sets in that album, I thought it was seperate. I have been trying to find one of those albums (empty) but they seem to be just as scarce as the #1 and 2 coins, would be nice to have though. Ended up getting the #1 on ebay for $45 cad, a bit higher than I wanted to spend but kinda got caught up in the auction haha. The last full set of 6 I saw sold for close to $120 with shipping and everything so I am hoping to get the 2nd one and still have a fair amount less invested than that.

I got #1 & #2 for $21 each 2 years ago. They were definitely harder to find and more expensive than #3-#6 at the time.

Nice kuh! I think I probably overpaid for the #1 coin but I made a deal with someone to get the #2 coin for $25 shipping incl. so overall I am just happy to finish the set :).

This is a page from "Coins of Canada" that shows the mintages.

Sorry for the blurry picture my hands aren't too steady.

Thanks JimmyD, although I really hope those numbers are not accurate, at least for the bottom two coins.

I'm looking for the first coin too but I have the album. What does the entire set with the album go for?

I saw a full set go earlier in June for around $80. It didn't have the album though. Last time I saw the album I think it sold on it's own for around $10 but that was quite a long time ago. I have been looking for just the album on it's own but they seem to be quite rare.

So I bought the last 5 coins and album for 60$ cad and I am looking for the 1st coin to complete the set. Just wondering if anyone is looking to sell one or just how much you payed so I know not to over pay. Thanks!

Hard to say really. The last 4 can be usually be bought for around $20. The 2nd one I have seen go anywhere from $22 to $37 lately. The 1st one I have seen go from $65 to $70 lately. But the only complete set I have seen lately has only gone for $80. I paid $45 for the first one but I think that still may have been fairly high, however they don't really come up that often. So far I think I have just under $90 in my set but I don't have the album to go with it, which seems to be rarer than the 1st coin itself.
