1997 Trail Die Or Feeder Finger Damage?

I am looking at the monument and the letters E PLURIBUS and STATES. Please let me know what you think I am curious to learn what caused this and if something like this would be a keeper or bring a premium. Report this Post to the Staff

I see folks trying to sell it as Trails, but the are different in cause despite some similarity in effect. Trails can bring a small premium but Feeder Finger Damage...well...it shouldn't bring any premium I suppose. That said, sometimes interesting things appear via the damage, so if you like it...flip it (2x2 style). Report this Post to the Staff

One of the things I saw with trail dies is it looks like there is a slight overlap on the design. The lines on your coin go behind the design. It looks really cool though! EDIT: Yes!
