Hi,

Here is another macuquina from Madrid, from a later period, minted under Felipe II.
On the left, you can see an over-essayer, M - which should be over BR

The coin was not laminated properly, and has a very odd bubble.
I really liked that feature, and the MD mint mark which is not common - and went for it :)

Very nice coin MathieuMa, struck under Carlos II instead of Felipe II. The bubble as you mention is I think a piece of metal that during lamination came off of one side. I have an eight reales of Felipe II from the Potosi Mint that shows a similar defect.

Instead of lamination I think I should have used hammering which describes the procedure better.
