So I am searching a $200 bag of pennies. I must say, I find way more in bags than rolls. The best thing about bags is that things that can't fit into rolls, fit into bags. I have found elongated pennies, a few plastic ones, lots of foreign and 3 off centers! You can just find a whole lot more in bags than in rolls. Just my 20,000 cents.

You can get bags from the bank. Plus, I have found 3 50% off centers.

If/when you get a back from a bank I would assume that implies the use of a coin counting machine, elongated pennies would be rejected by such a machine though correct? Typically those bags only bag $25 of pennies as well

I don't think a coin counting machine is used since it just says, "up to this line is $50..." So on and so on. So someone fills it up. I Don't know how though! All I know is it is a bag of pennies.

I get bags from the coin counting machines at the banks. Here they are set at 50 dollar bags. The banks will allow you to get boxes that they stock for 25 or they can order 50 dollar bags. I have never had them order bags though. Out of round coins will show up through the counting machines.

I get bags of rolled coin that customers turn in $500, $1k in dimes, or quarters, or cents. I normally grab the dimes. Too bad I quit recently after 7 years. Part of me is missing.

Not all banks carry bags of anything lately. However, some banks have some stored away for some reason. Usually in a vault somewhere but usually at banks that have been around for a while. By me when I ask at most banks they tell me they have none. But a few older banks I've found have $50 bags of pennies.
